Obsolete music video concept renewed by todays hightech.

“B.A.P (Korean: 비에이피; an acronym for Best Absolute Perfect) is a six-member hip-hop South Korean group formed in 2012 under the management of TS Entertainment. On January 26, 2012, B.A.P made their recording debut with the single “Warrior”, followed by the release of their debut EP, Warrior in February 2012.”

This is interesting to me because of how much time and money they have spent on it. So much money, but no original or even creative ideas. Just a bunch of scenes and props we have all seen before. Is it a good thing because finally somebody with a sense of quality tried an old concept? Like in the movie Hitchcock, where he is trying to get investors for his new movie called Psycho. They turned him down at first because they had no respect for horror-movies, since they are mostly just silly. Old classic boyband music videos are silly as well. Then Hitchcock asked – What if somebody good made them? Maybe the producer behind this video shared a though with Hitchcock. – Lets use all the classics and throw a lot of money at their problems!

Im a little impressed by how I dont hate it.

The most beautiful suicide

This is Evelyn McHale the 1st of May 1947. She was a 23 year old book-keeper living in Long Island. One day when she had visited her fiancé in Pennsylvania, she never returned home. Instead she went and spent the night at Governor Clinton Hotel. The next morning around 10.30 pm she went up to the observation deck in The Empire State Building.

Then she leaped.

Landing in a elegant pose with a peaceful face and legs crossed like a lady, on top of a United Nations limousine. The photography student Richard Wiles was in the neighborhood, ran over after he heard the crash and took several photos. This photo taken was 4 minutes after she appeared on 86th street. It served as cover for Life Magazine and also got rewarded as the Photo of The Week.

“He is so much better off without me. I wouldn’t make a good wife for anybody
she had written in her suicide note, left at the hotel.

First it felt a little awkward. Like as if it was created to give comfort to lonely, dying or poor people.

I decided to try it anyway while I was studying, because music was to distracting and I needed something, but didn’t wanna go outside and find somewhere to sit. Suddenly I realized I was sitting more straight up and feeling important.

Interesting, I thought…
